Samsung Charm is the company’s attempt to bring fitness tech to fashion-savvy customers. The device was previously a concept. We were able to get our hands on it at CES 2016, and it has undergone a number of design changes.
It’s the same sleek, discrete module we saw just a few months back. Samsung seems to have eliminated some of its options for accessories. While we are familiar with Samsung’s band options, we regret that it has not offered more creative options, such as cufflinks and rings. They looked stunning and would have made the Charm stand out more.
The Charm will make you look snazzy and stylish, so don’t worry about looking too snazzy. This wearable will be available in three metallic colors: black, gold, and pink. This wearable tracks your steps and offers color-coded notifications to notify you of incoming calls or texts.
Although it might not seem like much, the Charm packs a 17mAh battery that can power the device for up 14 days.
It requires Android 4.4 or higher to be compatible. We are sorry, iPhone users. We have reached out to Samsung for more information about pricing and when it will be available. The device is currently only available in Korea, France, Italy, and Russia. However, we are hopeful that it will soon be available worldwide.
